It combines features from Scarpa's Alien RS and F1 models to create a unique and versatile boot for touring and skiing in the backcountry.

The lower boot of the F1 LT is inspired by the now-discontinued Alien RS. It features a carbon-infused Grilamid® LFT shell, which provides a balance of lightness and strength. The 3D Lambda Torsion frame further enhances the boot's power-to-weight ratio, giving it impressive performance capabilities.

The F1 LT incorporates a Boa® fit system over the instep, allowing for a precise and secure fit. This ensures that the boot remains comfortable and snug during your backcountry adventures. Additionally, the boot comes with a waterproof gaiter, which helps keep your feet dry when encountering wet snow or long bootpacks.

The boot's cuff design is based on the F1 model, featuring a simple, durable, and powerful buckle and Velcro strap system. It boasts a remarkably light weight of around 990 grams, as claimed by Scarpa. This lightweight construction gives the boot a running shoe-like feel during ascents. However, once fastened, the boot remains one of the stiffest lightweight backcountry boots available, providing the necessary rigidity for demanding descents.

Overall, the Scarpa F1 LT is designed to be a versatile boot that can serve as your everyday touring boot, excel in challenging terrain, and be suitable for ski traverses.
