plum-r140-bindings
Plum R140 Bindings

The Plum R140 (Race 140) is the new ultralight race binding built for skiers who count every gram but don’t want to compromise on reliability. At just ~140 g per foot, it’s machined from 7075 aluminum in France and paired with a steel U-spring for durability. The release values are fixed at 8 (forward and lateral), giving it a firm, predictable ride on the down. It’s as minimal as it gets: no brakes, one heel riser at 36 mm, flat mode for skinning, and Plum’s “Too Facile” easy step-in system.

Character & Ride
This binding is all about speed and consistency. Transitions are quick, the feel is direct, and the steel spring keeps retention reliable over hundreds of race days and training sessions. No frills, just a race-tuned tool that does its job every single time.

Who It’s For
The R140 is for skimo racers and speed-mountaineers who want a dependable, race-legal binding for training and competition.
